System requirements
What you need before installing
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
- Microsoft Excel (Microsoft 365 or Office 2019+, desktop)
- .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later and VSTO Runtime (use prerequisite setup if missing)
- A Smart Cut license key to activate
Installation
Up and running in three steps.
1. Run the installer
Close Excel, download the MSI, then run it. If Windows reports a missing Microsoft component, use the prerequisite setup link above instead.
2. Open Excel
The Smart Cut ribbon tab appears automatically the next time Excel starts.
3. Activate your license
Click Activate License on the Smart Cut ribbon and enter your key. Don't have one yet? Contact us and we'll set you up with a trial.
